Recent events in the U.S. and around the world have demonstrated the promise and fragility of democracy in stark terms. On February 25-26, 2021, the Josef Korbel School of International Studies and the Alliance of Democracies Foundation will bring together diverse individuals from across the political spectrum who are dedicated to protecting and promoting democratic ideals. Please join virtually for timely conversations at the inaugural Denver Democracy Summit.

February 25-26, 2021
8 a.m. - 2 p.m. MST (times subject to change)

The Denver Democracy Summit will feature speakers and participants from government, academia, civil society and media including:
• Michael Abramowitz, President of Freedom House
• Madeleine Albright, former U.S. Secretary of State
• Michael Bennet, U.S. Senator
• Susan Glasser, Staff Writer at The New Yorker
• William Kristol, Founder & Director, Defending Democracy Together; Editor-at-Large of The Bulwark
• Sarah Lenti, Executive Director of The Lincoln Project
• Anders Fogh Rasmussen, former NATO Secretary-General and former Prime Minister of Denmark
• Audrey Tang, Taiwan's Digital Minister
